In Part III we continue looking at the Scriptural evidence, this time asking the question: If we don't see believers during the time of the apostles practicing sola scriptura, what does the New Testament lead us to believe would be the rule of faith and practice for Christians after the age of the apostles? Do any of the New Testament authors tell us? And if not, are there hints we can pick up of what they had in mind? Do we see the apostles preparing the churches for the time when they would no longer be around and Scripture would begin to function as the Church's "sole and sufficient infallible rule of faith and practice"? What does the New Testament teach on this subject?
